Community Engagement

Engagement with communities is an integral part of the environmental assessment process. A series of Public Information Centres and non-regulatory community meetings will be held in the Municipality of Clarington to provide updates to project planning, environmental assessment studies, and preliminary results, as well as solicit input to the environmental assessment process.

The Port Darlington Community Association (PDCA) invited CBM Aggregates to provide a Project update to local residents through a community meeting held on May 24th. A presentation offering available Project updates and four informational handouts were made available at the event. Copies of the materials presented are available below.

CBM Aggregates hosted a Public Information Centre (PIC) to provide you with the opportunity to learn more about the Project, Notice of Opportunity to Provide Input and to pose any questions about the Project to the CBM Aggregates Bowmanville Project Team. Open houses were held in the community prior to initiating the environmental assessment to discuss plans for the Bowmanville Expansion Project. Materials from these events are linked below. Please note however, that as the project planning has evolved, some of this information is now out of date.
